In a deeply distressing incident, a Chinese national named Li Jiaqi attempted suicide while in custody at the Amar Shahid Khudiram Bose Central Jail in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.  The 63-year-old man, originally from Shandong province, tried to sever his private parts using broken eyeglass fragments.  This shocking event took place on Friday evening, and his condition is currently critical.
