Young Indians Drive Surge in Travel to Thailand with 60% Increase
New data from Airbnb reveals a significant surge in travel from India to Thailand, with bookings increasing by more than 60 percent year-on-year between 2022 and 2023. This remarkable growth is largely driven by India's younger generation, with Gen Z and Millennial Indian guests accounting for a whopping 80 percent of bookings in 2023. As the world's largest population of these age groups, it's no surprise that youth is at the heart of Airbnb’s success in India.
