Over 126,000 kg of Indian Mangoes Sold in 10 Days at Doha's Indian Mango Festival
The inaugural Indian Mango Festival, also known as Indian Hamba, held at the Souq Waqif marketplace in Doha, Qatar, has concluded with resounding success. Spanning from May 30 to June 8, 2024, the 10-day festival saw an impressive total of 126,935 kg of mangoes sold, marking a record-breaking achievement for the first edition of the event. Organized by Souq Waqif in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in Qatar, the festival attracted thousands of fruit enthusiasts from across the country. The event showcased a diverse array of mango varieties from India, including the famous Alphonso, Banganapalli, Neelam, and Malgova, among others.
