Landslide in Papua New Guinea Kills Over 100 People
In a devastating natural disaster, a landslide has claimed the lives of over 100 people in a remote village in Papua New Guinea. The incident, which occurred in Enga province, approximately 370 miles northwest of the capital, Port Moresby, has left a community reeling and sparked an urgent emergency response effort. The landslide struck Yambali village in the early hours of Friday, burying parts of the community under boulders and trees from a collapsed mountainside.
