South Korea's Beloved Giant Panda Twin Cubs Celebrate Their First Birthday at Everland Theme Park: Watch

On Sunday, July 7, South Korea’s beloved giant panda twin cubs, Rui Bao and Hui Bao, celebrated their first birthday in style at the Everland theme park near Seoul.

The twin pandas, who hold a special place in the hearts of many, were born in July 2023, marking a significant milestone as the country’s first twin pandas.

The joyous occasion was marked with a festive party organized by their dedicated keepers.

To make the celebration memorable, Rui Bao and Hui Bao were treated to a delightful bamboo cake, a favorite among pandas.

Additionally, a variety of toys were presented to the playful duo, ensuring a day filled with fun and excitement.

Rui Bao and Hui Bao are the offspring of Ai Bao and Le Bao, two giant pandas who arrived from China in 2016 on a 15-year lease.

Their arrival was part of China’s long-standing practice of sending pandas abroad as a gesture of goodwill, while maintaining ownership over the animals and their cubs.

This cultural exchange not only strengthens international relations but also contributes to global conservation efforts.

The first birthday of Rui Bao and Hui Bao is a testament to the successful collaboration between South Korea and China in panda conservation.

The event was not only a celebration of the cubs’ milestone but also a reminder of the importance of wildlife preservation and the joy that these magnificent creatures bring to people around the world.

Visitors to Everland theme park were thrilled to witness the twin pandas’ special day.

The heartwarming scenes of Rui Bao and Hui Bao enjoying their cake and toys brought smiles to many faces, underscoring the deep bond between the pandas and their admirers.

As Rui Bao and Hui Bao continue to grow, their presence at Everland serves as a symbol of hope and happiness.

Their journey from birth to their first birthday is a story of international cooperation and dedication to wildlife conservation.

With each passing year, these beloved pandas will undoubtedly continue to capture the hearts of people both in South Korea and beyond.
