During his visit, PM Modi met with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, where the two leaders discussed enhancing political and economic cooperation between India and Austria.

In a gesture of camaraderie, Chancellor Nehammer shared a selfie with PM Modi on social media, underscoring the warmth of their meeting. 

PM Modi reciprocated, affirming the robustness of India-Austria relations and expressing confidence in their continued growth.

The visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Austria, providing an opportune moment to bolster mutual ties across various sectors. 

Discussions during the visit are expected to explore avenues for deeper cooperation on geopolitical challenges and economic opportunities.

PM Modi’s itinerary includes engagements with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and addressing business leaders from both countries.
