Coffins with "French Soldiers in Ukraine" Found at Eiffel Tower

In a startling incident, five life-size coffins draped in French flags were discovered near the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

The coffins bore the inscription "French soldiers in Ukraine," causing alarm and raising concerns about foreign interference in French affairs.

This shocking event led to the arrest of three individuals.

The coffins were found on a Saturday morning around 9:00 am on the Quai Branly, near one of the world's most visited tourist attractions.

Police quickly arrested the driver of a van used to transport the coffins.

The driver, who claimed he was paid a modest sum of 40 euros to transport the cargo, was believed to have arrived from Bulgaria the previous evening.

The other two suspects were apprehended later that day at the Bercy coach terminal, as they were preparing to board a bus to Berlin.

The trio—comprising a Bulgarian, a Ukrainian, and a German—remain in custody as investigations continue.

The boxes, it turned out, contained gypsum, adding another layer of mystery to the incident.

Authorities are investigating this act as a possible instance of foreign interference in French affairs.

This suspicion is not unfounded, as France has experienced similar incidents recently.

Last month, for instance, red hand graffiti was painted onto France's Holocaust Memorial, and the suspects in that case are believed to have fled abroad.

The timing of this incident is significant, as it comes amid heightened tensions over the potential involvement of Western troops in Ukraine.

President Emmanuel Macron recently stated that sending Western troops to Ukraine could be considered if Russia breached Ukrainian front lines and Kyiv made such a request.

This statement drew sharp criticism from the Kremlin, which deemed it "dangerous."

This discovery of the coffins is part of a broader pattern of suspected foreign interference in France.

Another recent incident involved the daubing of Stars of David on buildings in Paris and its suburbs, shortly after the October 7 attack by Hamas militants on Israel.

Investigators suspect that this act may have been carried out at the request of an individual residing abroad, possibly linked to Russia.

As investigations into these incidents continue, the French public and authorities remain vigilant against potential foreign influences aiming to destabilize the country.

The discovery of the coffins near the Eiffel Tower serves as a stark reminder of the complex geopolitical tensions affecting France today.
