In a tragic incident early Wednesday, a devastating fire swept through a building housing workers in Kuwait, resulting in at least 49 fatalities. Among the deceased, 41 were Indians, including 11 from Kerala, highlighting the significant impact on the Indian migrant community. The fire broke out in the southern Mangaf district, an area densely populated with migrant laborers. According to local media, the building housed a total of 196 workers.
