A recent study published in the International Journal of Risk and Safety in Medicine has raised concerns about Bharat Biotech's Rotovac, a rotavirus vaccine included in India's government immunization program. According to the study, Rotovac is associated with a 1.6-fold increased risk of intussusception in vaccinated infants. This condition, where part of the intestine folds into an adjacent section, can lead to serious medical complications.
