Departing from Barbados, this flight is carrying India's triumphant T20 World Cup team back home, symbolizing a momentous occasion for the nation.

Flightradar24, a real-time flight tracking service, announced on X (formerly Twitter), "Our most tracked flight right now - T20 World Cup champions India on their way home." 

At its peak, over 5,252 users were closely monitoring the progress of 'AIC24WC', eagerly following the journey of their cricketing heroes. 

This unprecedented attention highlights the immense public interest and the national pride stemming from India's cricketing achievement.

YouTube personality Mufaddal Vohra also shared updates, noting that 4,032 users were tracking the flight, further underscoring the excitement surrounding the team's return. 

The flight's call sign, 'AIC24WC', is more than just a designation; it represents India's historic World Cup victory, with '24WC' standing for T20 World Cup 2024, encapsulating the pride and joy of the nation.

Team India is scheduled to land in New Delhi early Thursday morning. Upon arrival, they are set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi before continuing to Mumbai on a chartered flight. 

In Delhi, the players will be honored by the Prime Minister and will share a celebratory breakfast with him.

The celebrations do not end there. An open-top bus parade is planned from NCPA, Nariman Point, to Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. 

This event will be a grand spectacle, with BCCI Secretary Jay Shah awarding the team a prestigious Rs 125 crore prize money for their outstanding performance. 

The parade is expected to draw massive crowds, all eager to celebrate the team's victory and welcome them home.
