A massive explosion followed by a huge fire erupted at the Linwood Industrial Estate near Paisley, Scotland, creating a dramatic scene that quickly went viral on social media. 

The explosion, which took place on Burnbrae Road, sent thick black smoke billowing into the sky, prompting local authorities to take immediate precautionary measures.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service reported that they were alerted to the fire at 9:12 PM. 

At the height of the incident, ten fire appliances were dispatched to the scene to tackle and contain the well-developed fire affecting a commercial building in the industrial area. 

Despite the intensity of the blaze, there have been no reported casualties.

Videos of the incident, shared widely on social media, show the scale of the disaster, with large flames and dense smoke dominating the skyline.

One concerned local resident described the scene, saying, "We’ve been here 15-20 minutes and it keeps getting bigger and bigger, they look like they are struggling to get it under control."
